More Than Words®

Parents of children with speech and language delays are constantly being given new information. But often, what they need is practical skills.

As a Hanen-certified Speech Therapist, I can teach you simple, easy-to-use strategies to develop your child’s communication at home. Hanen programs focus on learning and practicing one skill at a time, creating a written plan to use that skill at home, and learning to recognize what progress looks like on a day-to-day basis.

You should leave each session knowing exactly what your child is working on, why, and how you can continue to work on that skill at home.

More Than Words was developed by experienced speech-language pathologists and is grounded in extensive research. Studies have been published on the program showing that it improves the communication skills of autistic children. You can read more about the research here.
